| Aspiring
Surgeons Program and Emory's Surgical Interest Group
Annual Suture Clinic was a great success with over 50
students requesting an opportunity to participate. Dr.
Barbara Pettitt provided hands-on instruction to students,
teaching the fundamental interrupted stich and sub-reticular.
ASP could not accommodate all requests to participate
and we look foward to hosting another suture clinic
this January. This suture clinic will also offer the
BONUS of a Splint-Setting clinic, co-hosted with EUSM's
Orthopedic Interest Group. Stay tuned for more details.

Members Pull An All-Nighter In Grady Trauma |

early September, over 20 Emory Aspiring Surgeons
Program members had the opportunity to play an
active role in delivering surgical care via Grady's
Emergency Trauma Surgery service.
