Research Connection

Research is a key component to acquiring a comprehensive medical education and an exciting part of academic medicine. Research opportunities can provide hands-on experience, interesting learning opportunities, and build strong relationships with physicians in our community. It is also important to note that the nature of the surgical training process is such that surgeons often look favorably upon those prospective interns who have research experience.
